Our jewellery is of great quality and craftsmanship, being suited for every day wear. However, we do recommend you to refrain from taking your jewellery to swimming pools as gold reacts with chlorine.

It is also recommended that you remove your jewellery when practising sports or doing housework and keep it away from water, creams, lotions, potions and chemicals in general.

For more information, visit our caring for your gold jewellery page.

Almost all of the jewellery stocked by Chains of Gold is fine gold and solid sterling silver. Where an item is plated (very unlikely), we will make this very clear in the description.
